Context

ASTU is an Oakland-based vocalist, songwriter and producer whose music blends soul, R&B and synth-pop.

This Foot Locker NorCal collection brings together a short film and portraits of ASTU.

Approach

We moved between full-length compositions and close portraits, using greenery, architectural color and red light to give the series a varied rhythm.
